塘福工程破壞河道

        大嶼山塘福有一條溪流，孕育了十五種魚類，當中包括兩種新發現的淡水魚，以及一種在中國被列為有絕種危機的魚類。這條溪流極具生態價值，卻無須經環境評估程序而進行河道改善工程，小魚兒的家岌岌可危。

Tong Fuk construction damaged river channels

        A river stream at Tong Fuk on Lantau Island is home to 15 species of freshwater fish ; and among them are two newly discovered species with one species listed as on endangered fish species in China . Although this river is of tremendous ecological value , river channel construction is not required to go through the Environment Impact Assessment procedure . This could threaten the survival of these fish species .
