感謝各政府部門，鄉事委員會，區議會，各大專院校，各學校及社區團體，各公營機構義工隊，各公司企業，演藝界代表，義工及約250名香港區青年大使，及各工作人員從農曆新年以來三個月的默默耕耘，終使我們順利及成功地在坪洲島上舉辦我們在2012年度香港區的聯合國國際百萬森林計劃植樹日，當天共有1,134位參加者/市民/義工/嘉賓共同參與，共為坪洲東部山火後之臺地種植了約1,021棵原生樹木。接著來的日子，我們將繼續為該植林復育區推行植樹活動後第二季的護理工作(2012年09-12月)，為曾參與植樹活動之參加者或未曾參與過之參加者提供重訪植林復育區進行護理工作的機會。

Bonjour à tous,
Merci pour le gouvernement de Hong Kong, le Comité de Rural Committee, de District Council, toutes les universités et les sociétés, les entreprises publiques, les représentants d'artiste, les bénévoles, les jeunes ambassadeurs verts, de leurs efforts du janvier au avril de 2012, de laisser le jour de reboisement du projet mondial des arbres de million de l'UNEP, pour la division hongkongaise en 2012, a bien été tenu et organisé sur l'île de Peng Chau le 22 avril 2012, nous avons eu 1,134 participants / citoyens / bénévoles / invités ont participé totalement, et nous avions planté autour de 1,021 arbres d'espèces locales (gaules) dans ce jour-là. Nous aurons des ateliers de reboisement et de conservation du site de reboisement à nouveau dans la deuxième saison entre septembre et décembre dans cette île encore, tous les volontaires et les bénévoles sont invités à participer.

Dear All,
Thanks for the HKSAR Government, The Rural Committee, District Council, all Universities and Societies, Public Entreprises and Companies, representatives of artist, volunteers, officers and green youth ambassadors, their efforts from Jan. to Apr. 2012, to let the “International Million Trees (Forest) Project – Trees Planting Event for Hong Kong Region 2012” was successfully held and organized on the Peng Chau Island on 22th April 2012, we had 1,134 participants/citizens/volunteers/guests participated, and we had planted around 1,021 local species trees sapling on that day. We will have a second season trees planting and conservation workshops for the trees planting site again on the Peng Chau Island between September and December, all volunteers are welcome to participate.

植林復育工作坊之工作範圍包括: 補充樹苗，除草，清除垃圾，施基肥，疏伐，澆水，修枝，教育講解等。
Les travaux de conservation de reboisement d'un atelier sont notamment la plantation d'arbres, l'enlèvement des mauvaises herbes, enlèvement des ordures, la fertilisation, l'arrosage, la coupe des branches, les travaux du sol, et l'introduction d'enseignement, et cetera.
Reforestation conservation works are including trees planting, grass removal, rubbish removal, fertilizing, watering, branches cutting, soil works, and educational introduction etc.

部份參與者將豁免來回中環至坪洲船票

The partial of round-trip tickets between Central and Peng Chau Island will be provided by our Committee
